Shihan Claudio Barletta

Claudio Barletta began Karate in 1982 under Master, Normand Bourbonnais (Director and founder of Canadian organization of Saïko Karate). Claudio obtain his first degree black belt in 1985, second in 1987, third in 1989 and followed by fourth degree in 1992.

After leaving the organization, he trained for five years with Doshi Josée Patenaude (Presidente de Koyama Karate). Finally decided to open up his own Dojo with one of his student, Sensei Daniel Martineau (successful and experience in martial arts) under the name of Kyodan Karate.

 

Sensei Daniel Martineau

Sensei Daniel Martineau practices martial arts more than 23 years. At his young age, he trained different styles of Katate like l’Ate Waza (2 years) and along with Shotokan (2 years) followd by 3 years of Tae Kwon Do. He also achieve perfection fo 5 years in boxing and kickboxing. In continuation, Sensei Daniel began practicing Kyokushin Kaï with Senseï Claudio Barletta and obtain his first degree black belt (Shodan) in 1998, his second (Nidan) in 2004 and his third in 2007.

Since 1999, Sensei Daniel is assistant instructor of Sensei Claudio. Recently, together we decided to open up our own Karate school called Kyodan. Sensei Daniel is chief instructor for beginner courses. The respect of the students towards there Sempaï is just as important towards there Sensei.
